10 breakthrough startups join Sting to transform AI, health tech, and climate tech

This spring's Sting cohort is tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges from AI-driven workforce planning and next-generation MedTech compliance to sustainable food innovation, composite recycling, and cutting-edge electric vehicles.

Today, 10 visionary startups begin their journey with Sting, Sweden’s leading incubator and accelerator. These companies, selected for their bold ideas, high ambition, and potential for global impact, will now gain access to tailored coaching, investor networks, and a powerful community of fellow entrepreneurs to accelerate their growth.

Meet the startups shaping the future:

Glycolink (Incubate) – Developing next-generation biobased hydrogels that replace fossil-based materials, starting with cosmetics. Their proprietary technology harnesses proteins from the pine forest to create high-performance, sustainable alternatives. Glycolink

Seaqure Labs (Incubate) – Rethinking the way we produce animal feed. Using mycelium-based protein, they are developing a sustainable alternative to soy-based feed, drastically reducing land and water use. Seaqure Labs

Empatik AI (Incubate) – Leveraging psychology and neuroscience, Empatik AI decodes verbal and nonverbal cues to enhance leadership, reduce bias, and improve communication skills. Empatik AI

Empley (Accelerate) – An AI-powered simulation and scenario planning tool for Strategic Workforce Planning, helping enterprises optimize talent decisions and align HR strategies with business goals. Empley

NearbyStore (Accelerate) – Redefining e-commerce logistics with a network of compact automated warehouses and pick-up points that reduce space, energy use, and food waste while making online shopping more efficient. NearbyStore

ClearScanAI (Incubate) – Transforming breast cancer detection with AI-powered risk stratification, identifying women who would benefit from additional screening beyond standard mammography. ClearScanAI

Emmel (Incubate) – On a mission to revolutionize the Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) market with an electric, all-terrain vehicle that combines performance with sustainability. Emmel

Avanoro (Accelerate) – Making digital payments faster, more secure, and borderless with real-time account-to-account transactions, reducing reliance on traditional payment systems. Avanoro

Minosia (Incubate) – Taking the pain out of MedTech compliance by automating regulatory processes, accelerating market time, and reducing manufacturers' costs. Minosia

Fiberloop (Incubate) – Transforming composite waste recycling by providing equipment and solutions to recyclers, preventing glass fibre-reinforced plastics from ending up in landfills and incineration. Their vision is to lead the change in composite recycling and reduce CO2 emissions on a global scale. Fiberloop
